Crewe run frustrating but squad is confident - White

White says Crewe's six-game draw streak is frustrating but has built squad confidence in their defensive solidity.

Crewe Alexandra midfielder Joe White has acknowledged the frustration of six consecutive draws across League Two and cup competition, but emphasized the positive impact on team morale. After winning their opening two league games, the Alex have drawn with Port Vale, Walsall, York City, Colchester United, Shrewsbury Town and Rotherham United, picking up six points. White told BBC Radio Stoke the unbeaten run has made the squad feel "safe" in matches and given them confidence they are hard to beat, though he acknowledged they need to convert chances better to turn draws into wins.
