Celta awaits Starfelt injury assessment

Celta centre-back Starfelt suffered a muscle injury during Sweden's match against Bosnia and is undergoing tests to determine severity.

Celta defender Carl Starfelt picked up a muscle injury to the back of his thigh during Sweden's international fixture against Bosnia on Wednesday night and requested to be substituted around the 30-minute mark. The club confirmed the injury is muscular in nature but will not know the full extent until Starfelt undergoes imaging tests upon his return to Vigo. He is the second Celta player to leave international duty early, following Uruguayan Sebastián Cáceres who departed with a pubis injury.
