Flick's 17 academy prospects: where they are now

Flick assessed 17 Barcelona academy players during pre-season; some joined the first team, others remain at Barça Atlètic or transferred elsewhere.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick evaluated 17 academy prospects during pre-season training while international players were delayed returning from World Cup commitments. The German coach used the opportunity to assess their development and determine which could feature in the club's future plans. The players have since taken different paths: some have been integrated into the first team, others continue developing at Barça Atlètic, and several have moved to other clubs, including a defender who joined Royal Antwerp for €3.5 million and a goalkeeper loaned to Almería through June 2027.
