Tottenham continue pursuing Athletico Paranaense defender Arthur Dias, 19, who has just returned from his first senior Brazil international break with two caps and a first start. Spurs previously offered €21m for 80% of his rights, which was rejected; Athletico want a minimum of €30m. The race is intensifying with Barcelona showing strong interest, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and Brentford also monitoring the situation, and Saudi Arabian clubs now making contact. However, Dias prefers to continue his career in Europe, with the Premier League his preferred destination.
