Newcastle to play 'key' role in Brian Brobbey leaving Sunderland

Brobbey's potential Juventus move hinges on Woltemade's future; if Newcastle recall the loanee, Juve may pursue the Sunderland striker.

Brian Brobbey is attracting interest from multiple Premier League clubs and European sides following strong performances at Sunderland under Regis Le Bris. Juventus are considered frontrunners for the 24-year-old Netherlands international, but their pursuit depends on Newcastle's decision regarding Nick Woltemade, who is on loan at the Serie A club. Former Manchester United scout Mick Brown suggests that if Woltemade returns to Newcastle—which appears likely given his limited playing time in Turin and the absence of a purchase option—Juventus will be forced to seek a new striker, making Brobbey a prime target for summer 2025.
