Sources: Arsenal to make Declan Rice 'announcement'
Summarised by MatchPal
Arsenal close to announcing a new contract for Rice after agreeing terms with the midfielder following Arteta's own extension.
Arsenal are finalizing a new contract with Declan Rice after reaching agreement with the midfielder, sources told Football Insider. The announcement is expected soon. Rice, 27, joined from West Ham in 2023 and has been a regular for the Gunners, contributing nine goals in 36 Premier League appearances last season. The deal comes after Arsenal extended manager Mikel Arteta's contract to 2030, making him the Premier League's highest-paid manager.
