Is Magilton under pressure after five straight defeats?

Cliftonville have lost five straight league games and dropped to ninth in the Irish Premiership, piling pressure on manager Jim Magilton.

Cliftonville are in freefall after five consecutive league defeats, scoring just one goal across those losses and slipping to ninth in the Irish Premiership table. The downturn began after a promising 3-1 win over Carrick Rangers on 12 September, with defeats to Larne, Glentoran, Limavady United, Ballymena United and Coleraine following in quick succession. Manager Jim Magilton rejected the chance to take over at Glentoran during this poor run, opting to stay at Cliftonville, but the timing of his decision and the team's continued struggles have intensified scrutiny on his position.
