Six players set to miss Atletico Madrid vs Man United after double injury blow

Manchester United will be without six players for the Champions League trip to Atletico Madrid, including Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo who picked up injuries against Tottenham.

Manchester United face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League without six squad members. Luke Shaw was substituted late in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Tottenham, and Kobbie Mainoo has since joined him on the sidelines after both picked up issues in that match. Manager Michael Carrick confirmed neither travelled to Madrid. Patrick Dorgu is expected to miss several weeks after sustaining an injury on international duty with Denmark, while Noussair Mazraoui also remains sidelined from a knock picked up with Morocco. Manuel Ugarte continues his recovery from knee surgery.
