Another blow for García Plaza: Guridi ruled out

Sevilla midfielder Jon Guridi sidelined for 2–3 weeks with a right adductor injury, compounding García Plaza's problems ahead of the Real Madrid visit.

Sevilla's medical team confirmed Wednesday that Jon Guridi has suffered a right adductor longus injury and will miss at least two to three weeks. The injury comes as García Plaza's squad faces mounting absences: Miguel Sierra requires shoulder surgery after a dislocation against Levante and will be out until 2027, while Isaac Romero is suspended for one match after receiving a second yellow card. Sevilla travel to the Santiago Bernabéu to face Real Madrid with their attacking options severely depleted.
