Too many cooks at Watford - Ince

Former midfielder Ince warns Watford faces relegation risk due to lack of experience and leadership in the squad, citing internal structural issues beyond the manager.

Tom Ince, who left Watford at the end of last season, has expressed concerns about the club's Championship prospects following their 5-1 defeat to Cardiff. Speaking on the BBC's EFL podcast, Ince criticised the squad's lack of experience and leadership, describing the performance as "soulless" and lacking heart. He believes the deeper problem lies in the club's internal structure, claiming there are "too many cooks in the kitchen" with conflicting visions for how the club should move forward, regardless of manager Alessio Dionisi's appointment in June.
