OM-Olympiacos: "We've been here four months, we must advance faster," Genesio's dismay after Marseille's latest setback

Marseille lost 1-0 at home to Olympiacos in Europa League, extending their poor run to six defeats in eight matches this season.

Olympiacos defeated Marseille 1-0 at the Stade Vélodrome on Thursday in Europa League matchday two. Despite a largely convincing display, Marseille lacked clinical finishing and appeared physically fatigued late on. Manager Bruno Genesio expressed frustration after the match, saying the team must improve faster after four months in charge. The loss follows a 2-0 win over Troyes in Ligue 1 on Sunday and leaves Marseille with just two victories in their last eight games.
