Van den Brom surprised by refereeing: 'Now I have to be careful...'

Van den Brom expressed reservations about the refereeing standard after Twente's Conference League win over Thun, but declined to elaborate on differences with Dutch officials.

FC Twente defeated FC Thun 1-0 in a Conference League match at De Grolsch Veste on Thursday, with Ramiz Zerrouki scoring after Thun's Patrik Kristal was sent off by Kosovar referee Genc Nuza. Manager John van den Brom acknowledged the red card was controversial but praised his team's response. When asked about the standard of refereeing compared to Dutch officials, Van den Brom declined to comment further, saying he preferred not to discuss the matter after securing the victory.
