Bristol City need to solve home form says Skubala

Bristol City manager Michael Skubala says the team must improve their home form after a third defeat in five games at Ashton Gate, with low-block defensive tactics from opponents proving difficult to break down.

Bristol City manager Michael Skubala has acknowledged the team's struggling home form after a 1-0 defeat to Blackburn on Tuesday, their third loss in five games at Ashton Gate. Despite creating 20 shots to Blackburn's three, City failed to convert and have now scored just three goals at home all season—joint lowest in the Championship. Skubala said the issue stems partly from opponents arriving with defensive low blocks and counter-attacking setups, and emphasized the need to both create more clinical finishing and maintain defensive solidity when teams sit deep.
