Former América president Pérez Teuffer argues promotion and relegation is not viable in Mexico's top division due to financial and sporting disparities.

Pérez Teuffer, former president of América, has stated that reinstating promotion and relegation in Mexico's top division is not feasible. He argues that not all clubs have the economic or sporting capacity to compete at the highest level, citing what he describes as significant issues within the Expansion League.
