Mastantuono is a Real Madrid player

Leipzig manager Demichelis backs Mastantuono as a Real Madrid player, citing his personality and technical abilities despite the Argentine's current loan at Fiorentina.

Martín Demichelis, manager of Leipzig and former coach of Franco Mastantuono at River Plate, has publicly endorsed the Argentine as a player suited to Real Madrid. Speaking at a virtual roundtable, Demichelis emphasized Mastantuono's personality alongside his physical and technical capabilities, noting that adaptation takes time for young South American players at elite European clubs. Mastantuono, who became Argentina's most expensive export when joining Real Madrid, is currently on loan at Fiorentina this season seeking regular playing time.
