Sources: Leeds to sell Nmecha after new striker deal agreed

Leeds will only sell Nmecha if they secure a replacement striker; the 27-year-old has Bundesliga interest but is out of contract next summer.

Leeds United are open to selling striker Lukas Nmecha in January, but only if they can bring in a replacement, sources told Football Insider. The 27-year-old has attracted interest from several Bundesliga clubs including FC Köln, but manager Daniel Farke wants to ensure the club doesn't leave itself short at striker with Nmecha as Dominic Calvert-Lewin's only backup. Nmecha is out of contract next summer and talks over an extension have stalled, meaning he could also negotiate a pre-contract deal with a foreign club in January.
