Swansea City dealt huge injury blow as door opens for forgotten star

Winger Ronald faces 6–8 weeks out with a hamstring injury sustained against West Ham, sidelining him for around 10 games.

Swansea City winger Ronald suffered a hamstring injury during Saturday's defeat to West Ham United, where he started at right-back in place of the suspended Filip Lissah. Manager assessment confirms he will miss 6–8 weeks of action, ruling him out for approximately 10 matches including the upcoming trip to Queens Park Rangers. The injury comes after an impressive recent run for the Brazilian, who has contributed two goals and an assist since nearly departing for Millwall on deadline day.
