The biggest risers and fallers in MARCA's Top 100: Messi soars, Rodri and Kvaratskhelia emerge, Salah and Julián disappear

MARCA's annual ranking of the top 100 players sees Messi surge into the top 10, while Rodri and Kvaratskhelia debut in the top 5; Kane claims the number one spot.

MARCA has released its fifth annual ranking of the top 100 footballers, with significant movement from the previous season. Rodri and Kvaratskhelia make their debuts in the top 5, finishing fourth and fifth respectively, behind Kane (1st), Lamine Yamal (2nd), and Mbappé (3rd). Messi has climbed dramatically from 49th to 6th, buoyed by Argentina's World Cup run and his MLS Cup triumph with Inter Miami. Spanish players Ferran Torres and Mikel Oyarzabal also enter the top 20, while Kane, Michael Olise, Erling Haaland, and Jude Bellingham show significant gains in the rankings.
