Hoffenheim-OL: serious scare for Steeve Kango, hospitalized after heavy fall

Lyon right-back Steeve Kango was stretchered off and hospitalized after a heavy fall during the Europa League match against Hoffenheim.

Olympique Lyonnais right-back Steeve Kango suffered a serious fall during Thursday's Europa League Group Stage match at Hoffenheim. The 19-year-old defender landed badly on his back following an aerial duel with German player Tim Lamperle in the 25th minute. He was stretchered off the pitch and replaced by Nohamm Kamara, then transported to hospital for examination to determine the extent of his injuries.
