Bottom team in English professional football identify new manager for urgent rescue mission

Crawley Town, bottom of League Two with five points from ten matches, have identified former Millwall striker Morison as their new manager after sacking their previous boss.

Crawley Town have sacked their manager following a 3-2 defeat to Shrewsbury that leaves them five points adrift at the bottom of League Two. The West Sussex club, facing a second relegation in three seasons, have identified former Millwall striker Morison as a leading candidate for the role. The 43-year-old, who left Sutton United in September 2025, is currently employed as Leicester's loans manager. Crawley have won just once in ten league matches this season and are winless in their last eight games.
