Vrancken urges Hearts to dig deep as Belgian only has one response to injury crisis

Hearts manager Vrancken says his squad must cope with mounting injuries after losing Milne and Borchgrevink in Turkey; Motherwell visit Sunday.

Hearts manager Wouter Vrancken has acknowledged his squad faces a severe injury crisis ahead of Sunday's trip to Motherwell. The Jambos lost defenders Harry Milne and Christian Borchgrevink to injuries during Thursday's 2-0 Conference League defeat to Trabzonspor in Turkey, compounding existing absences across key positions. Vrancken stressed the team must focus on each game without looking too far ahead, with Stephen Kingsley now his only fit senior left-back and central midfield options severely depleted. Despite the loss in Turkey, the manager believes the performance can provide confidence going into the Scottish Premiership fixture.
