Derek McInnes facing big Rangers question after Tayside tinkering ahead of St Johnstone – predicted XI

McInnes faces a selection dilemma ahead of St Johnstone after his tactical tweaks against Dundee resulted in a disappointing 2-2 draw.

Rangers drew 2-2 at Dundee last weekend after Derek McInnes made tactical changes, dropping Kevin Kelsy and introducing Badredine Bouanani in a central attacking setup. The alterations initially backfired as Rangers fell behind, though Bouanani equalised and Nico Raskin put them ahead before a Dan Neil error cost them the win. McInnes now faces a decision on whether to revert to his successful 4-4-2 formation for Saturday's home match against newly-promoted St Johnstone, with Kelsy likely to return and Bouanani keeping his place on the right wing.
