Provedel ready for debut: Fiorentina and Venezia are Inter's test

Ex-Lazio goalkeeper Provedel set to make his Inter debut against Fiorentina tomorrow after eight months out with a shoulder injury.

Ivan Provedel is poised to make his official Inter debut against Fiorentina on Sunday, followed by a midweek trip to Venezia. The former Lazio goalkeeper has been sidelined for nearly eight months since undergoing shoulder surgery in March. Manager Chivu delayed Provedel's debut to allow backup Pepo Martínez to recover psychologically from recent errors, but Martínez's Champions League performance has now paved the way for the change. Inter will also be without Luis Henrique, who suffered a left adductor strain and is unlikely to return before the international break.
