Valverde leaves injured

Valverde played through right hamstring discomfort from the first half before being substituted in the 62nd minute during the Clásico.

Fede Valverde suffered right hamstring discomfort midway through the first half of the Clásico but continued playing despite the injury. He was seen grabbing the back of his thigh several times and manager Mourinho immediately had Dumfries warming up as a precaution. After Mbappé's goal, Valverde was quickly assessed by the medical team but stayed on the pitch. He managed to last until the 62nd minute, when Mourinho substituted him for Dumfries following Raphinha's goal. Real Madrid has not yet confirmed a formal injury diagnosis.
