Inter's strong start: Chivu outpacing Inzaghi and Conte after 8 games

Inter have 22 points after 8 games under Chivu, their best start since Spalletti's 2017/18 season, beating Fiorentina 2-1 with a late comeback.

Inter have made an impressive start to the season under Chivu, maintaining a high points average in Serie A. After eight matches, the Nerazzurri have accumulated 22 points, which represents their best opening to a campaign since the 2017/18 season when Luciano Spalletti was in charge — they had the same tally of 22 points after the same number of games back then.

Chivu's start has outpaced those of his predecessors Antonio Conte and Simone Inzaghi. The latest victory came against Fiorentina with a dramatic 2-1 comeback win in injury time, continuing a pattern of late heroics early in the season.
