China Media Group on Mbappé's apology: We will judge him not only by his words but also by his actions
Summarised by MatchPal
China Media Group demands public apologies from La Liga, Real Madrid, and Mbappé before resuming broadcast of matches and lifting suspension of his endorsement ads.
China Media Group (CMG) suspended La Liga broadcasts and all matches involving Kylian Mbappé on October 26 in response to remarks about China made by the Real Madrid player. In a formal response to La Liga president Tebas, CMG's Director-General stated that a public apology from La Liga, Real Madrid, and Mbappé himself is a fundamental prerequisite before any further discussions can take place. CMG emphasized it will judge the parties not only by their words but by their actions, and hopes all involved will learn from the incident and make genuine efforts to correct their mistakes.
