Leeds fans could turn on Daniel Farke after new twist - 'This could go badly wrong'

Mick Brown warns Leeds fans could turn on Farke if draws become defeats during a tough run against Bournemouth, Tottenham, Chelsea and Man City.

Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown has cautioned that Daniel Farke's position at Leeds United could come under pressure if the club's form deteriorates. After eight Premier League games, Leeds have won just two, drawn five and lost one, leaving them in a precarious position despite avoiding heavy defeats.

Brown told Football Insider that while the current record is respectable compared to other struggling clubs, the mood could shift rapidly if draws turn into losses. "If those draws start to turn into defeats, their performances start to go the wrong way, it can very quickly turn and the fans will start to lose patience," he said. He pointed to Crystal Palace, Fulham and Everton as examples of clubs with similar records facing managerial scrutiny.

Leeds face a critical run of fixtures against Bournemouth, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City, which will test their credentials. Brown also highlighted the lack of a clinical goalscorer as a key weakness, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin failing to score in five of eight league games. Farke is reportedly pushing the club to sign a striker in January, which could prove crucial to converting draws into victories.
