Athletic's Segunda División loanees continue to deliver goals

Eder García, a midfielder on loan from Athletic Bilbao at Córdoba, has emerged as one of the standout performers in LaLiga Hypermotion this season. The Rentería native has scored four goals, including three in his last four matches, making him the joint top scorer for the Andalusian club alongside Percan. His most recent goal came last weekend in Córdoba's 2-0 victory over Eibar, which he opened from the penalty spot after arriving in the box to finish a low cross from the right.

García has been instrumental in Córdoba's resurgence, with the club now on a run of three wins in four games and sitting safely in mid-table. However, not all Athletic loanees have enjoyed success: Gift, another Athletic player on loan at Eibar, suffered an injury in his first start after just 17 minutes and had to be substituted. Elsewhere in the Segunda División, other Athletic loanees have contributed to their clubs' victories: Ibon Sánchez scored in Cádiz's 3-1 comeback win over Ceuta, while San Bartolomé netted in Albacete's 2-0 win over Eldense, where fellow Athletic loanee Olabarrieta completed the full 90 minutes.
