Barcelona B midfielder Laia Cabetas has signed with Leaderbrock, the agency representing Pedri, Clara Serrajordi and Xavi Espart. The 15-year-old from Barcelona's youth academy is considered one of the most promising talents in the club's cantera and is at a significant moment in her career, with her contract expiring this summer.

She is currently competing in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco, where she has started the last two matches. She provided a decisive assist in Spain's 3-1 victory over Chile and will face the United States in the quarter-finals on Thursday, 29 August.

A lifelong Barcelona supporter, Cabetas has won a league title with Barcelona B, another with Barcelona C, two Catalan league titles and two Catalan cups with the youth team, and a league title with the under-12s. She was also runner-up in the Spanish championship with Catalonia in 2025.
