Arsenal's response to Nicolo Tresoldi asking price increase revealed

Arsenal tracking Club Brugge striker Tresoldi, valued at £42m but price likely to rise if his form continues.

Arsenal are monitoring Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi as a potential long-term target, with sources indicating the Gunners are aware his asking price will increase if he maintains his current form. The 22-year-old German U21 international is currently valued at £42 million by the Belgian club, but Brugge are expected to raise that figure ahead of next summer's transfer window.

Tresoldi has impressed this season with 12 goals in 14 games across all competitions, including a hat-trick against Inter Milan in the Champions League. Arsenal have no concerns about meeting a potentially high price tag despite Tresoldi playing in the Belgian league, and sources say the club view him as a future elite-level striker.

Brugge are under no pressure to sell and will not consider a January exit, preferring to keep their prized asset through the campaign. Manchester United and Tottenham are also tracking Tresoldi's progress, but Arsenal are among the leading candidates to secure his signature when a move becomes possible next summer.
