Arsenal squad 'confirmed' for Liverpool test with Noni Madueke and Riccardo Calafiori injury update

Madueke, Calafiori and Tzolis spotted with Arsenal squad ahead of Liverpool clash; Madueke faces late fitness test on ankle injury.

Arsenal's squad was confirmed for Sunday's trip to Anfield with positive fitness updates on several players. Noni Madueke, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, was pictured on the traditional pre-match walk around Liverpool city centre on Sunday morning, though he remains a doubt and will face a late fitness test. Manager Mikel Arteta is hopeful of including the right winger given the absence of Max Dowman through suspension. Riccardo Calafiori and Christos Tzolis, both of whom had fitness concerns, were also spotted with the group after training on Friday and Saturday. Arteta confirmed on Friday that if both players completed full training sessions, they would be available for selection. Declan Rice was not pictured but is expected to be included in the squad.
