Bakero attacks Mourinho: "Look at the images, this won't end well"

Bakero criticized Mourinho's conduct during Racing's match against Real Madrid, particularly his reaction to Álvaro Mantilla's serious knee injury.

José Mari Bakero criticized José Mourinho's behavior during Sunday's Racing-Real Madrid match on radio show El Larguero. The former Barcelona player took issue with Mourinho's reaction when Racing defender Álvaro Mantilla suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury that will sideline him for the season.

Bakero described seeing Mourinho protesting to the fourth official, claiming Mantilla had dived rather than been genuinely injured. "Look at the images of Mourinho complaining to the fourth official. 'He threw himself, he threw himself!' We need to be clear about this," Bakero said.

Bakero called for stricter oversight, suggesting La Liga should establish a committee to monitor player and manager conduct after matches. "If they want to change this in La Liga, they should create a committee for player and manager statements after each game. Because this won't end well," he concluded.
