Theo Hernández reacts after being left out of Zidane's France squad again

Theo Hernández reacted with a laughing emoji after being omitted from Zidane's France squad for Nations League matches, then deleted the post.

Zinedine Zidane announced France's squad for upcoming Nations League fixtures on Friday, with several injury absences. Theo Hernández was notably left out for the second consecutive international window under Zidane, despite being a regular under previous manager Deschamps and featuring in the last World Cup.

The Al-Hilal midfielder, 29, responded to the squad announcement with a controversial post on X featuring a laughing emoji, an apparent jab at Zidane. However, he quickly deleted the post. Hernández, who previously played for Real Madrid during Zidane's managerial tenure there, as well as AC Milan, has been based in Saudi Arabia since 2025.
