Door 'shut' on Barrow captain Williams returning

Barrow manager Adam Murray has shut the door on captain MJ Williams returning, citing a difference in approach after the midfielder's red card on 15 September.

Barrow captain MJ Williams remains sidelined indefinitely after receiving a red card against Solihull Moors on 15 September. Manager Adam Murray confirmed the door is "shut" on Williams' return, stating they are "on different pages" from a football perspective. Despite Williams' absence, Barrow have won their last three matches and climbed into the top half of the National League, their best run since December 2023. Murray indicated there is currently no place for Williams in the squad.
