Robbie Savage: Colourful character set to spice up Posh

Robbie Savage, the former Leicester midfielder and Wales international, has been appointed Peterborough United manager.

Robbie Savage has been appointed manager of Peterborough United in what the club describes as his biggest managerial role to date. The 51-year-old, known for his distinctive personality and media presence, began his playing career in Manchester United's youth academy alongside David Beckham and Paul Scholes before establishing himself as a Premier League midfielder at Leicester City. He earned 39 caps for Wales during his playing career and has since moved into management. The appointment comes as other high-profile figures have recently raised the profile of lower-league clubs.
