Ritmeester belongs at a higher level

Ritmeester van de Kamp returned to action for Almere City and hopes to secure a move to a higher division in the January transfer window.

Jochem Ritmeester van de Kamp made his first appearance of the season for Almere City on Saturday against FC Volendam. The 22-year-old midfielder, who scored seven goals and provided one assist last season, expressed ambition to move to a higher level and revealed he has held talks with Eredivisie side Sparta.
