"Ten Hag was a piece of shit"

Fred criticised Ten Hag's man-management at Manchester United, saying the Dutch coach favoured his compatriots and created a tense atmosphere despite tactical acumen.

Fred, now at Atlético Mineiro, gave a candid interview on 'Charla Podcast' about his time under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United. The Brazilian midfielder praised Ten Hag's tactical abilities but was scathing about his handling of the squad, claiming the manager argued with multiple players including Cristiano Ronaldo, Casemiro and Rashford, and played only his Dutch compatriots. Fred also recounted tensions between Ten Hag and Ronaldo, explaining that the manager dropped the Portuguese forward before a match and later made critical comments about the club in an interview.
