Fred: "Durán told me 'I'm already rich, I don't need to run'"

Fred recalls Durán's carefree attitude at Fenerbahçe, saying the Colombian striker told him 'I'm already rich, I don't need to run' during training.

Fred, the Brazilian midfielder now at Atlético Mineiro, shared anecdotes from his time with Jhon Jader Durán at Fenerbahçe in a podcast interview. Fred described Durán as the most 'crazy' player he's shared a dressing room with, recounting how the Colombian striker would refuse to attend training sessions, claiming he was already wealthy and didn't need to work. Fred noted that Durán's attitude eventually led to his early departure from the Turkish club, though he expressed hope that the striker has since matured. Durán is now at Benfica seeking to rediscover the form that made him Colombia's starting number nine.
