What we learned from Wales' Nations League window

Wales lost three of four Nations League A matches but remain in control of their fate ahead of final fixtures, with manager Bellamy critical of the four-game window format.

Wales completed a demanding four-game Nations League A window with three defeats to Portugal and Denmark (twice) and one win over Norway. Manager Craig Bellamy criticized the four-game format as impractical and poorly suited to smaller nations, noting it prevented meaningful coaching time and increased injury risk — Harry Wilson and Joe Rodon were ruled out before the campaign began. Despite the poor results, Wales' hopes of staying in League A and securing a Euro 2028 seeding boost remain in their hands with two fixtures remaining.
