Isaksen reborn on international duty: Gattuso to restore him to Lazio's starting XI

Isaksen revived his form in Denmark's Nations League campaign with a goal, assist and penalty won across four matches, earning a recall to Lazio's starting XI.

Isaksen has bounced back from a difficult start to the season, delivering strong performances in Denmark's Nations League fixtures with a goal against Wales, an assist, and a penalty won. The winger played 15, 76, 45 and 82 minutes across matches against Norway, Wales, Portugal and Wales respectively, impressing enough that Lazio manager Gattuso is set to restore him to the starting lineup for the Serie A clash against Monza. The 24-year-old has overcome mononucleosis in early 2025 and a summer groin operation that disrupted his pre-season preparation.
