Roma haven't forgotten Oosterwolde: still in their sights

Roma remain interested in Oosterwolde after failed summer move; deal could revive in January once the Dutch left-back completes injury recovery.

Roma's pursuit of Jayden Oosterwolde, which collapsed in summer when a muscular injury discovered during his medical raised concerns, remains alive. The Dutch left-back underwent surgery in early September and faces roughly three months out. Roma have kept him on their radar and manager Gasperini approved the move; once recovered, Oosterwolde could become a concrete target again in January. The relationship between player and club survived the failed deal, with Oosterwolde greeting Roma players before the recent Istanbul fixture.
