Stockport charged by FA for pitch invasion after May play-off semi-final win over Stevenage; club must respond by 10 October.

Stockport County have been charged by the FA for a pitch invasion that followed their 2-0 League One play-off semi-final victory over Stevenage in May. Hundreds of fans ran onto the pitch after the final whistle to celebrate the 3-0 aggregate win. The FA charged the club under rule E21 for failing to ensure spectators did not encroach onto the pitch. Stockport must provide a response by 10 October.
