Man United 'still interested' in January deal for Barcelona star facing brutal treatment

Manchester United remain interested in Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde ahead of January, with the defender struggling for game time under Hansi Flick.

Manchester United have maintained their interest in Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde as the January transfer window approaches, according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo. Balde was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the summer but Barcelona blocked his departure. The Spain international has featured just once for Barcelona this season under manager Hansi Flick, and the report suggests the club's stance on his exit could change in January, with United the only club mentioned as showing interest in the defender.
