Flick's reflection that could help Barcelona

Flick emphasizes Barcelona's long season ahead after losses to PSG and Real Madrid, while Luis Enrique's PSG reflection on resilience offers a lesson for the struggling champions.

Barcelona endured their worst week of the season, suffering defeats to PSG in the Champions League and Real Madrid in La Liga within five days. The losses came in the final minutes of both matches, deflating what had been a dominant start to the campaign. Hansi Flick responded by stressing that "the road is long" and expressed confidence that doubts would not creep in.

Meanwhile, Luis Enrique, whose PSG side inflicted Barcelona's first defeat, took the top spot in Ligue 1 after beating Lyon 2-0. The PSG manager offered a reflection that could benefit Flick and Barcelona: "It would be very dangerous if we were already at 100%. We are looking to recover our usual rhythm and be ready for April." Enrique highlighted his team's "resilience" — the very quality Barcelona has been criticized for lacking in their recent collapses. He noted that over the past three years, PSG have proven to be a reliable team with resilience, always seeking to win.

Flick has pointed to a lack of "freshness" in his players as the reason for the late-game collapses, suggesting that tactical adjustments rather than fundamental issues are at play.
