Solihull sign Kachunga and Johnson until January

Solihull Moors sign free agents Kachunga and Johnson on short-term deals through January 2027.

Solihull Moors have completed the signings of forward Elias Kachunga, 34, and wing-back Marvin Johnson, 35, both on free transfers. The pair have signed short-term contracts until 9 January 2027 after leaving Cambridge United and Port Vale respectively at the end of last season. Kachunga won promotion to the Premier League with Huddersfield in 2017 and was part of Cambridge's League Two title-winning campaign last term. Johnson previously played for Motherwell, Oxford United, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United, and won Championship promotion with Sheffield Wednesday in 2023.
