Nick Woltemade 'will return to Newcastle United' after Juventus decision

Juventus have decided against a permanent deal for Woltemade; the striker will return to Newcastle next summer with no future at either club.

Nick Woltemade's loan move to Juventus is set to end without a permanent transfer. The 24-year-old joined the Italian club on deadline day but has struggled for league minutes, starting only in Europa League. Juventus included no option to buy in the deal, and have now decided against pursuing a permanent signing. Woltemade will return to Newcastle United at the end of the season, though he has no long-term future at St James' Park either and the club will need to plan his next move.
