Player could return to Newcastle United in January – Multiple factors combining

Woltemade has struggled at Juventus with no Serie A goals; Italian media suggests a January return to Newcastle is possible if his form doesn't improve.

Nick Woltemade, signed by Juventus from Newcastle on a dry loan in late summer, has failed to make an impact in Serie A, scoring zero goals so far. The striker has been criticised for his performances with Germany and has struggled to secure regular playing time. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus now view him as only a temporary solution and feel Newcastle's valuation would be too high for a permanent deal. The newspaper floats the possibility of Woltemade returning to Newcastle in January if his situation at Juventus does not improve.
