Perry hopes for more goals after first Exeter strike

Perry scored his first goal for Exeter in a 2-2 draw with Oxford United, won on penalties in the Jersey Mike's Trophy.

Taylor Perry netted his first goal for Exeter City in the eighth minute of Tuesday's Jersey Mike's Trophy fixture against Oxford United, a League One side. The match ended 2-2 before the Grecians won 4-3 on penalties to top their group with six points from three games. Perry, a 25-year-old summer signing from Shrewsbury Town, told BBC Radio Devon he hopes to build on the goal and the team's improved performance, which comes after beating Rotherham 1-0 last week.
