Everton preparing to rival Newcastle in January – Toffees contact, offer on way

Everton have made contact with Galatasaray over Gabriel Sara and plan to submit an offer in January, rivalling Newcastle for the Brazilian midfielder.

Everton have begun efforts to sign Gabriel Sara from Galatasaray in January, with an offer expected to follow. The 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder has impressed since joining Galatasaray for €18m from Norwich City in 2024, making 94 appearances with 10 goals and 17 assists. Newcastle are also interested and had targeted Sara in the summer before rebuilding their midfield with other signings. Both Premier League clubs are now expected to compete for his signature in the January window.
