Jaydee Canvot's 'head could be turned' as Crystal Palace stance revealed

PSG retain long-term interest in Palace defender Canvot, who joined from France for £20m in 2025; Palace fear his head could be turned by a summer approach.

Crystal Palace are concerned Paris Saint-Germain could reignite their interest in centre-back Jaydee Canvot next summer. The 20-year-old joined Palace for £20 million in 2025 after PSG had previously tracked him, and has since made 41 appearances and played a key role in the club's Conference League campaign. Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown warned that the prospect of joining one of Europe's elite clubs could tempt Canvot to leave, despite Palace's determination to keep him. The club view him as a crucial long-term asset and rebuffed PSG's approach during the summer window, but acknowledge that sustained interest from top European sides could complicate their position.
